Document translations your clients' cases can rely on.

One mistranslated line on a birth certificate can turn into a Request for Evidence, a delay, or a denial. We give immigration attorneys translations that hold up in front of USCIS, consulates, and courts across the US and Latin America.

Sworn versus certified: the distinction that trips people up

In the United States there is no government roster of "sworn" translators. USCIS requires a certified translation instead: a complete English version of the document plus a signed statement from the translator confirming it is accurate and that they are competent to translate. That statement is the certification. No court appointment, no special seal.

Latin America works differently. In countries like Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain, a sworn translation (traducción jurada, or a perito traductor translation in Mexico) must come from a translator officially authorized by a court or government body. Their seal carries legal weight.

Whether you need sworn or certified depends entirely on where the document is going. A USCIS filing needs certification. That same client's paperwork bound for a court in Bogotá may need a sworn translator's seal. We handle both — and we tell you which one you actually need before any work starts.

  • Police and criminal background records
  • Court judgments, custody orders, and legal declarations
  • Academic transcripts, diplomas, and professional credentials
  • Bank statements, tax records, and affidavits of support
  • Passports, national IDs, and civil registry extracts
Why Immigration Attorneys Work With Us

Immigration filings live and die on documents.

A translation that reads well isn't the same as one that gets accepted. We built this service around the second one, drawing on more than twenty years of working in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

📐 We format to match

Adjudicators compare the translation side by side with the original. We reproduce the layout, seals, and signature blocks so the reader can follow along. Fewer questions mean fewer delays.

✅ Proper certification, every time

A signed, dated certification of accuracy that meets USCIS requirements comes with each document. You don't have to chase us for it or draft your own.

🌎 Human linguists who know regional Spanish

Machine translation still misreads names and drops accents that change meaning. A birth certificate from rural Guatemala doesn't read like one from Buenos Aires — our native-speaker translators know the difference.

⏱️ Turnaround that respects your filing dates

Tell us the deadline and we'll tell you honestly whether we can meet it — then we meet it. Every file is handled as confidential and stored securely.

How it works

1

Send us the documents

Scans or clear photos are fine to start. Tell us where each one is going so we know whether it needs certification or a sworn seal.

2

We confirm scope and turnaround

You get a clear quote and a delivery date before we begin. No surprises.

3

We translate and certify

A qualified human linguist translates, a second reviews, and we attach the correct certification or sworn seal.

4

You receive filing-ready documents

Formatted to match the originals and ready to attach to the case.

Immigration cases are hard enough without a translation working against you.

Give your filing documents that read accurately, look right to the adjudicator, and carry the correct certification for wherever they're going.

We'll confirm scope and pricing before any work begins. No commitment required.
